Professional Registration Applications
The Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) will no longer go live with the portal for Professional Registration Applications on Friday, 15 August 2025 as previously communicated. This follows a careful, phased approach to ensure that the portal will go live for all applicants when it is fully functional.
The new official launch date is now confirmed as Monday, 18 August 2025. From this date, professional registration applications will be accepted continuously throughout the year, with the portal closing annually only during the ECSA office shutdown period, when staff and peer assessors are unavailable.
