Framework For Determination Of Professional Fees 

Below is a fee structure for services in Private Professional Consulting Practice. These rules came into effect on 1 January, 2013.

ECSA will not be  publishing  Indicative Time- Based fees for 2013.

The Time Based Fees are contained in item  4.2 of the Guideline Scope of Services and Tariff of Fees  for Persons Registered in terms of the Engineering Profession Act (46 of 2000),board notice 201 of 2012 .  Maximum hourly rates for Government work can be obtained from the Department of Public Service and Administration ( DPSA )under the document archive http://www.dpsa.gov.za/dpsa2g/documents.asp , subject to approval from the Department concerned and financial negotiations with the client. Max hourly rates for private sector must also be negotiated.
